The Galion Community Center YMCA offers a variety of membership categories and payment plans for the convenience of our members.
Membership Categories
Household 1
Includes two adults & their dependent children, sharing the same residence. This includes full time college students up to age 22. *
Household 2
Includes one adult and their dependent children, sharing the same residence. This includes full time college students up to age 22. *
Household 3
Two adults, sharing the same residence, who are either: married, engaged or defining themselves as mutual significant others. *
Household 4
Two adults both ages 62 & over, sharing the same residence, who are either: married, engaged or defining themselves as mutual significant others. *
Adult

Age 62 and older
Youth
Infant through age 18
*The YMCA reserves the right to request additional documentation for proof of residency.
Scholarships
Individuals will not be turned away due to their inability to pay YMCA fees. The YMCA maintains a generous scholarship program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Contact our service desk for more information.
Payment Plans and Membership Rates
New members are required to pay a development fee.
The development fee must be paid at the time you sign up for your membership, regardless of what type of payment plan you choose.

Full payment and of membership fees are accepted with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card.
A PAYROLL DEDUCTION PLAN is offered with the following area employers: Carter Machine, City of Galion, Covert Manufacturing, Eagle Crusher, Elliott Machine, First Federal Bank of Ohio, Galion Building & Loan, Galion Community Hospital, Galion City Schools, General Mills, Home Care Matters, Lifetouch, Mark Schneider Funeral Home and Schilling Graphics.
We also offer a bank draft payment for automatic monthly deductions, taken from your checking account. This payment plan is available with most banks.

Applicable state sales tax is included in all membership fees. All YMCA memberships, except youth, includes a $2.36 per month Capital Fee that is transferred quarterly to the YMCA Maintenance Reserve Fund. These funds are used specifically for capital improvements and purchases as required.
Membership Cards
The Galion Center YMCA policy is that Membership cards will be required for entry into the building for YMCA members. Day passes will still be available and you will be asked to pay a fee if you fail to bring your card. If you have lost your card a new one may be purchased for $5.00. Contact the service desk if a new card is needed.
Day Passes
The Galion YMCA offers day passes to guests of our facility. Passes are good all day. All guests must be registered at the service desk.
